Our club meets at:
Benoni Country Club,
Every Thursday at 18:00 for 18:30

The Rotary Club of Benoni Van Ryn is situated in Benoni, Gauteng, South Africa, where we serve the local community of Benoni and its surrounding areas.

Go to the events page for results of the "March Hare" mountain bike race held on 4th March.

The theme for the club this year is “Reach within to embrace humanity”.
Our main service activities are to assist children and the aged and we also assist in animal protection projects as well. Our main Fund Raising projects are the annual Hobbitech Exhibition normally held in May, a Golf Day and off road cycle challenge. The funds raised are used entirely to fund our Rotary Club Projects.

Some of the projects completed by our club are:

  • The Bridge juvenile drug rehabilitation centre built in Boksburg.
  • A recreation Park in Etwata built for children.
  • Crèche constructed from shipping containers in Etwata.
  • Place of Safety in Benoni for children.
  • We support an Eye Clinic for the disadvantaged.
  • We provide wheelchairs to deserving people.
